Get In Shape for Summer
It will soon be time to put away the bulky sweatshirts
that you've been hiding in all winter. As you prepare
for the spring and summer months, let us help you choose
an exercise routine that will get you in shape for swimsuits
and shorts.
McDowell Wellness Center, located at 1107 Ben Ali Drive
in Danville, can help develop an exercise program that
is right for individuals of any age. Personal trainers
are available to help design an exercise program for
burning fat and toning muscles.
If you don't desire the services of a personal trainer,
consider a membership in McDowell Wellness Center. The
facility offers the latest in cardiovascular fitness
equipment as well as an aerobics studio and a six-lane
indoor pool. An outdoor walking track is also available.
You should strive to exercise a minimum of 30 minutes
daily three to five times a week. Generally, results
can be noticed within three weeks of beginning an exercise
program. Those results include decreases in resting
heart rate, the ability to relax, decreased stress and
an increased ability to sleep.

before beginning any exercise program.
