About Us
At the core of the system is Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, a non-profit, 222-bed licensed hospital that was established more than a century ago. The Ephraim McDowell Health system also includes Ephraim McDowell Fort Logan Hospital in neighboring Lincoln County (Stanford).

McDowell Wellness Center - Physical fitness and rehabilitation center that provides the latest in fitness equipment, an aerobics studio, classrooms, and a six-lane indoor pool.
McDowell Place of Danville - A 98-residence independent, assisted living and personal care community
A Children's Place - Children's learning and development center that provides age-specific programming to children from six weeks to 10 years of age.
Ten Family Medical and Immediate Care Centers - Located in Boyle, Mercer, Garrard, Casey, Washington, and Lincoln counties, these facilities offer convenient access to family medical care, including on-site laboratory and X-ray services. The immediate care centers in Boyle and Lincoln counties offer immediate, walk-in care without an appointment.
Outpatient Rehabilitation Services - Provided through McDowell Wellness Center, Ephraim McDowell Spine Physical Therapy and Ephraim McDowell Kids Can Do Pediatric Therapy Center in Danville; Fort Logan Rehabilitation Services in Stanford; and Ephraim McDowell Casey County Rehabilitation in Liberty.
Ephraim McDowell Diagnostic Center - This outpatient facility with laboratory, mammography and X-ray services (including Open MRI) also offers screenings for occupational health-related situations.
Ephraim McDowell MedSource - A supplier for home medical equipment in Danville, Stanford and Liberty.
Ephraim McDowell Health Care Foundation - Established in 1992, the Foundation is responsible for fundraising and implementing new and enhanced services.
Cancer Care Center – Offering private rooms to enhance the comfort of cancer patients during their hospital stay.
Cancer Support Center – Providing education and support services to cancer patients.
CooperativeCare - A network of hospitals and physician providers that contract directly with area industries to keep medical care local with the most efficient use of monies.
Central Kentucky Surgery Center – A multi-specialty outpatient surgery center where a wide variety of procedures are performed, located in Danville.
Specialty Physician Practices – Provided through Ephraim McDowell Cardiology, Ephraim McDowell Pulmonology and Ephraim McDowell Vascular, all located in Danville.
Diabetes & Endocrinology Center – Providing comprehensive services to manage diseases affecting the endocrine system as well as diabetes.
Sleep Disorders Center – Sleep specialists diagnose and treat sleep-related pathologies in children and adults.
Wound Healing Center – Offering state-of-the-art specialized wound healing care, including hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
OrthoSpineCenter – Patient care unit dedicated to patients with orthopedic and spine conditions, including a rehabilitation gym and a rehabilitation apartment.
Pain Management Center – An accredited center that assists individuals in learning how to manage their pain.
