Farmers National Bank has partnered with the Ephraim McDowell Health Care Foundation to ensure that the citizens of Stanford and Lincoln County have access to the best health care available. Farmers National Bank President and CEO, Greg Caudill, presented the final $10,000 payment of a $50,000 pledge to the Ephraim McDowell Fort Logan Hospital.
Farmers National Bank was one of the larger contributors to the construction campaign which helped fund the state-of-the-art Ephraim McDowell Fort Logan Hospital. At the presentation, Caudill reaffirmed the bank’s commitment to the community, “Farmers National Bank takes great pride in being a good corporate citizen, but nothing we do is more important than our support of the region’s health care.”
Donations to the Ephraim McDowell Health Care Foundation have also allowed for purchases of sophisticated medical equipment at the Fort Logan Hospital, such as a new digital mammography unit, which now provides women a better chance of early detection of breast cancer.
Ephraim McDowell Fort Logan Hospital President, Mike Jackson, recognized the value of good corporate partners as he accepted this final installment, “This is truly more than a donation by Farmers National Bank. It is really their investment into the health of our community, because the benefits will be felt long after a check is cashed.”
Ephraim McDowell Fort Logan Hospital is highly rated by patients for providing excellent care. Such quality has led to a Top 10 ranking as one of the most highly recommended hospitals in the country, as rated by the Hospital Consumers Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems.
