Farmers National Bank (FNB) has partnered with the Ephraim McDowell Health Care Foundation (EMHCF) to advance health care in the region. FNB has become a premier event sponsor, providing $20,000 to the EMHCF for various fundraising events.
The Ephraim McDowell Health Care Foundation provided more than $680,000.00 to support regional health care needs last year. Those dollars provided medical care for patients unable to pay for their health care or medicine, cancer screenings, state-of-the-art digital mammography, and a higher level of heart care with the most sophisticated cardiac cath lab in the commonwealth, to name just a few.
“We are pleased to partner with a charitable organization that is putting the money it raises to work to benefit the health care needs of the entire region,” says Greg Caudill, President and CEO, Farmers National Bank.
The Ephraim McDowell Health Care Foundation is celebrating its 20th anniversary of serving the health care needs of the many communities within the Ephraim McDowell Health service area. It is an honor that the accomplishments of the EMHCF are valued by such distinguished community partners as Farmers National Bank.
“Farmers support is another step in the growth of continuing to provide excellent health care to the patients of our region,” says Keith Bridges, Executive Director of the Ephraim McDowell Health Care Foundation.
The EMHCF proudly supports a wide variety of health needs including – cancer care, heart, stroke, patient treatment and providing for the most sophisticated medical technology available.
