If your physician orders therapy as part of your treatment plan, it may include:
*Physical Therapy. Our physical therapists can use a variety of techniques to assist in your recovery. These may include therapeutic massage, manual techniques, electrotherapy, therapeutic exercise, and pain management techniques.
*Speech/Language Pathology. Our speech and language pathologists evaluate and treat communication disorders, including problems with oral and written language, speaking skills and use of voice, and stuttering. We also have speech therapists certified in Vita Stim Therapy, the newest technique in treating swallowing disorders.
*Industrial Rehabilitation. Our therapists use special programs to address injury prevention and injured worker rehabilitation. Injury prevention programs provide on-site training and special services for local companies. Injured worker programs include clinical rehabilitation, job-specific work conditioning programs, functional capacity evaluations and recommendations for modified duty programs.

To regain skills or learn skills adapted to your condition, you can benefit from occupational therapy - including training in the skills of daily living (e.g., bathing, eating), splint fabrication, increasing upper body function, using assistive devices and adaptive equipment, training in using your body energy wisely, and work simplification.

Our speech and language pathologist evaluates and treats communication disorders, including problems with oral and written language, speaking skills and use of voice, and stuttering.
