Shelly Selby, R.N. has been named director
of cardiopulmonary services at Ephraim McDowell
Regional Medical Center. She has been a registered
nurse for 12 years and has focused much of her
career on caring for cardiac patients.
Sharon Dailey, R.N. has been named director
of the Critical Care Unit and 5T at Ephraim
McDowell Regional Medical Center. She joined
EMRMC in July 1996 as a staff nurse on 3W and
most recently was admission nurse.
Steve Davis, a radiologic technologist
at Russell County Hospital, has completed a
12-month program to be certified as an ultrasound
sonographer through the American Registry of
Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
Crystal Miller, who works in the laboratory
at Russell County Hospital, has passed the registry
exam for medical laboratory technologists offered
through the American Society for Clinical Pathology.
The Cardiovascular Laboratory at EMRMC
has achieved accreditation by the Intersocietal
Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular
Laboratories. The accreditation recognizes the
lab's commitment to providing a high level of
patient care and quality testing for the diagnosis
of vascular disease.
