COMMUNITY CPR FOR HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS

CHILDBIRTH CLASSES

Moms on the Move
This is an exercise class for expectant mothers to seniors, who may join the class at any time.
Each Monday and Wednesday, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
We also offer a Deep Water Class, each Tuesday and Thursday, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Cost: $6 per class or $49.50 per month
Location: McDowell Wellness Center

SIBLINGS CLASS
April 10, June 12, 2008
6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Location: Meet at the Nursery on the Women’s Health Unit

PREPARING TO BREASTFEED
April 22, May 27, June 24, 2008
7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Location: Jane Todd Crawford Room at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center

DIABETES SELF-MANAGEMENT
This is an educational program, provided in a group format and recognized by the American Diabetes Association, for individuals with newly-diagnosed diabetes or uncontrolled diabetes. New referrals are scheduled on Mondays from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. For information, call (859)239-1475. To make a referral, call (859)239-1282.

SMOKING CESSATION
These free support group meetings are sponsored by the Boyle County Health Department. Call (859)236-2053 to register for next available class.

April 21, 23, 25, 28, 30, May 2, 5, 7, 9, 12, 13 and 14, June 3, 4, 5, 9, 11, 13, 16, 18, 20, 23, 24 & 25, 2008

Location: Barton Room in the Gilcher Building
Cost: $525, which includes a book and workbook, the cost for state boards and CPR certification.
