Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center names new
board members and officers
October 12, 2004 - Danville, Kentucky - Ephraim McDowell
Regional Medical Center announces new officers on its
board of directors as well as two new board members.
The new officers on the board are William L. Stevens,
chair; Dr. David Williams, vice chair; and Greg Caudill,
secretary and treasurer. The two new board members are
James L. Jacobus and Alan Turbyfill.
Stevens is an attorney who has practiced in Danville
since 1972. He is a Tennessee native and graduate of
Centre College. He is a member of the board of directors
and an officer of Family Services Association and a
former member of the Kiwanis Club. He previously served
on the site-based decision-making council at Woodlawn
Elementary School and is a member of Centenary United
Methodist Church.
Stevens and his wife, Kathy, have three children: Loden,
a graduate of Lake Forest College in Illinois; Lane,
a student at Lexington Community College; and Brandon
Freeman, a freshman at Eastern Kentucky University.
Williams has lived in Boyle County for 26 years and
is president of Burkmann Industries. He is a member
of the board of directors for United Way and treasurer
of the Kentucky Cattlemen's Association. He previously
served on the boards for the Danville-Boyle County Chamber
of Commerce and the 4-H Council and as a director of
the Kentucky Feed and Grain Association. He served eight
years as president of the Boyle County Fair and also
is an active member of Perryville Baptist Church.
Williams and his wife, Betty-Gayle, have two children
- Brent, who is general manager of the company's division
in Louisville, and Stacie Williams Herron, who is a
speech-language pathologist at Ephraim McDowell Regional
Medical Center À and a 3-year-old grandson, Brandon
Burkes Williams.
Caudill is president and CEO of Farmers National Bank
in Danville, where he has been employed for the last
23 years. He has held that position since December 2002
and previously was senior vice president and head of
lending.
Caudill is a member of the board of directors for both
the Boyle County Industrial Foundation and Heart of
Kentucky United Way. He also is treasurer of Boyle County
Dollars for Scholars and the Great American Brass Band
Festival. He is an elder at the Presbyterian Church
of Danville.
Caudill and his wife, Melissa, have three children:
Claire, Bruce and Rob, all of whom are enrolled in Danville
schools.
Jacobus is a Boyle County native who currently serves
as president and CEO of Inter-County Energy Cooperative,
a position he has held since May 1999. He serves on
the Boyle County Industrial Foundation and Habitat for
Humanity and has served as
president of the Danville/Boyle County United Way and
Danville Kiwanis Club. He also previously served on
the boards of Jaycees and the Boyle and Mercer County
Chambers of Commerce. He is a member of Centenary United
Methodist Church.
Jacobus and his wife, Molly, have two daughters, Taryn
and Jamie.
Turbyfill is president at Kentucky Trust Co., where
he has worked the last four years. He has lived in Danville
for 13 years and previously was president at Jackson
Furniture.
Turbyfill is president of Heart of Kentucky United Way
and treasurer of the Boyle County Industrial Foundation.
He previously served as chair of the Chamber of Commerce
board of directors and chair of the local Red Cross
chapter. He is a member of Trinity Episcopal Church.
Turbyfill and his wife, Katie, have two daughters, Eliza,
15, and Victoria, 9. |
