Orthopaedic Spine Surgery

Spine Surgery is a subspecialty of Orthopaedic Surgery. A spine surgeon evaluates, manages and repairs spinal disorders to include disc herniations, degenerative disc disease, spinal deformities, vertebral fractures, spinal cancer, spinal infections and other conditions that cause back, neck and nerve-related pain syndromes. Minimally-invasive spine surgery is the use of small incisions, microscopes, lasers and microsurgical techniques to repair spinal disorders and achieve surgical objectives with smaller incisions, less pain, more rapid rehabilitation and earlier return to work.
