Going home as quickly as possible is important for our patients. Your physician determines when you are ready to be discharged. Please note that the discharge process may take some time after your physician advises he is releasing you. Your physician and nurse will give you discharge instructions and answer any questions you have about managing your treatment and medications once you are home. If you are confused or unsure about what you need to do, what medications you must take or if you have to restrict your diet or activities, please ask.
Your Opinion Counts
Soon after your discharge, you may receive a survey in the mail and a telephone call regarding your care. We would appreciate you taking the time to complete the survey or answering our questions during the telephone call. Our goal is to always provide excellent care.
