Visitor Information

We understand the value of the patient’s family and/or support person being present during patient care; therefore, visitation is available 24 hours of the day.  Some patient care areas limit visits at specific times in order for staff to provide uninterrupted care to patients.  If you are visiting a patient at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center past 9:00 p.m., please report to the Admitting/Registration area and contact Security for a picture identification badge.  If you are visiting a patient at Ephraim McDowell Fort Logan Hospital past 9:00 p.m., please go to the Nurses Station and request a visitor badge.

Please comply with the following guidelines when visiting:

  • Be considerate of other patients by keeping noise to a minimum.
  • Refrain from visiting if you have a cold, sore throat or any contagious disease.
  • Observe “No Visiting” and precaution signs before entering the room.
  • Do not smoke.
  • Leave the room during tests or treatments if asked.
