Our hospitals provide emergency trauma center care 24 hours a day. The Emergency Department at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center is designated as a Level III Trauma Center while the Emergency Departments at Ephraim McDowell Fort Logan Hospital and Ephraim McDowell James B. Haggin Hospital are designated as Level IV Trauma Centers. This means our Emergency Departments provide not only the hospital resources necessary for trauma care but also the entire spectrum of care to address the needs of all injured patients.
Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center is an accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI, meaning we meet or exceed benchmarks for rapidly diagnosing and treating patients who arrive with symptoms of a heart attack, thus reducing deaths and major adverse events.
All three hospitals are equipped to help you with prompt, high-quality medical care. Our Emergency Departments are staffed with qualified personnel 24 hours a day. The physicians and nurses in each facility are experienced and highly skilled to assess, evaluate and treat all types of emergencies.
